Everson: Gettin' Some Edu-ma-cation
I never liked the university part of University. I don't know why.. I was always bored before my sims could even get to their first final exam. But I was so bored and dreading the teen stage with Taweret, my G3 heiress, that I decided, what the hey? And so I sent Taweret (and Thor) off to college.

Taweret first. Here she is, newly arrived at the Oasis Dorms at La Fiesta Tech as a fresh faced young adult. She became a History Major.




She quickly settled in meeting everyone, including Emmy (I think that was her name) the Cow Mascot. Everyone in the dorm would come to hate Emmy (and most people /outside/ the dorms as well) and I think Taweret was the only one to ever maintain a positive relationship with her. It's nota /high/ relationship, but a positive one nonetheless. I think because Ta', being the neat freak that she is, enjoyed mopping up the puddles of water caused by Emmy's pranks with the sprinklers.



Ta' didn't waste time inviting over that handsome devil, River Cox, who had been a friend of her mothers growing up (that poor Ta' had been forced to talk to constantly after school in order to get a high relationship with him). After a kiss and a makeout session or two, Ta' proposed.. and River accepted! She was going to be married, just what a Family sim like her wanted. Of course, being only a freshman, she still had quite a ways to go before then.



First was all the studying. Ta' makes it look a lot harder than it really was. She had typically completely filled her performance meter all the way to the top anywhere between 24 and 48 hours before final exams, giving her a lot of spare time.



Neat freak that she is, any time Ta' was left without my Evil Dictator supervision, she was off cleaning. She cleaned so often suds seemed to follow her everywhere, earning Ta' the nickname "Bubbles" around campus. But even with her obsessive compulsive desire to clean, the dorm was constantly filthy (especially the bathrooms!) and it wasn't until she hired a maid her junior year that it finally started to look better.



Taweret Michelle Everson! What on earth are you doing going off to class in your undies, girl?!



Oh, yes, that's right. She'd invited River over the night before during the sports party. She invited him to stay the night and even bought a nice big bed so they could share some cuddle time.



Among.. er.. other things.



I had the game on triple speed while Ta' slept off the woohoo. All of a sudden I saw a bunch of slapping going on in the kitchen.. and there was River and Ta's best friend Noelle Wolosenko slapping each other silly! And this lasted /all night/. River finally left. And then Taweret got up and she was furious at River! And I don't even know why. Was it bcause he fought with her best friend? Was it because she'd invited him to stay the night and heleft before he should have? Who knows. But there were quite a few fights in this small dorm.. mostly involving Emmy the Cow Mascot and Noelle.



Ta' got a little bored with the cleaning and the studying. So she decided to streak through the dorms.



Unfortunately, the only person who noticed was Willow Wade.. and she only looked up casually from her research for a moment before getting back to it.



A few more semesters, tests and influencing people to do assignments later.. Taweret graduated! My first sim ever to not only make it past that first final exam.. but the first to graduate. She graduated Summa Cum Laude too. So proud of her.



And then it was time to move back home. I then sent Thor to college and had him drop out so that he would age to adult, could move back into the main house and move out again taking Meret and Nephthys with him. I forgot that he adds into my points of college folks who moved back in.. so I'll eventually lose a point for that. And I'm not even sure that it's legal by Challenge rules to age them like that.. but I don't care. I didn't want to wait for the twins to age to teens so I could send them away. So after Thor, Meret and Nephthys moved out, Ta' moved River in and they got married and pregnant pretty quickly. Here's Taweret as a loverly adult. Her LTW is to celebrate her golden anniversary.



There were now 5 people in the house: Cooper (founder Isis' husband), G2 heiress Artemis, her vampire husband Count Jason, and Taweret and River. I wanted to keep Cooper around because he's top of his career field and is close to earning $100,000 (impossible want, yay!). Artemis paints and when she grows old and dies I'll get inheritance from her. Jason didn't work and could only be up at night. He had to go. So it was out into the sunlight with the Count. Get a tan, boy! And.. hey.. are you smoking? This is a non-smoking lot, you know...



There he goes. Bye Jason! You were a pretty cool sim, gave me twins and an alien baby.. but you're pretty dull otherwise.



Death just shakes his head. You must be pretty tired of dealing with all these rotten legacy sims, aren't you, Grimmy?



And then I noticed something.. Jason's ring was still there, floating around in mid-air! I was hoping it would stay there, because I could call it the One Ring and make up a fancy story about hobbits living in the Everson's yard.. but when Grimmy vanished and left the headstone, away went the ring. Poo.



Just a quick shot of the two Everson men heading out to work. Cooper is a business tycoon and River came to the house as the mayor! Oh.. and River is also a Knowledge sim with a LTW of becoming a mad scientist. So sorry, Riv, but you're going to stay as mayor because they make good money. Taweret also got a job in the Artist field as a wedding photographer (the exact level you get the camera reward at.. I was worried, thinking she may have skipped it). But she couldn't go to work yet, seeing as how she was preggers.



And the first ghost to ever grace the Everson homstead with its presence is.. Count Jason! I was a bit miffed, as I wanted to see Isis' ghost first.. but oh well. He just kinda floated around the lot all evening and played with the bathtubs. A lot different from the Legacy's house, where 3 or 4 ghosts haunt every night.



And what would an update be without some sort of birthday? Welcome generation 4 of the Everson legacy.. little Dionysus! The first male heir for the Everson's, yay! And he looks just like his daddy, River. Cute little sprocket.



And so ends this Everson update. I expanded the house a little (added a 3rd bedroom downstairs and a large nursery to the back) and at the back of the lot is a room where the heir(ess)'s paintings hang, and their urns will sit under them. The area in front of that building is dedicated as the cemetary where non-heir graves will sit. Next update.. I expect promotions for Ta' as she gets working, a birthday (or maybe two) for Dionysus.. and hopefully another baby! I still plan on having Ta' go for that 10 kids want. Wish me luck!
